Double Win for Bluesoft: Elkov elektro and Sazkabet Named as Kentico Sites of the Month

This award highlights digital projects that excel not only in visual design but, above all, in high-quality architecture, user value, and the technical level of implementation on the Kentico platform. Elkov elektro is one of the largest Czech wholesalers of electrical materials, lighting, and photovoltaics. The original e-shop was historically designed primarily for B2B customers and, over time, ceased to meet modern demands for user experience and the further development of digital services. 

The goal of the project was to create a modern digital portal that allows for separate B2C and B2B operations, reduces dependence on the legacy solution, and simultaneously establishes a solid technological foundation for future growth. The new B2C e-shop was successfully launched in the summer of 2025, while further development of the B2B segment is planned for 2026. 

The result is a clear, powerful, and scalable e-shop built on the Xperience by Kentico platform, reflecting the needs of both end customers and internal teams, and ready for the next phases of Elkov elektro’s digital transformation. 

According to the Kentico jury, the Elkov elektro project was awarded for its clear focus on the needs of electrical professionals. A strong filtering system, clear navigation, and detailed product information enable fast product selection and a smooth purchasing experience, whether users are comparing products or placing orders.

Sazkabet, the betting platform of Sazka a.s., is among the most visited betting websites in the Czech Republic. The project addressed the need to handle extreme traffic during major sporting events, manage sensitive data, and provide real-time updates—all without compromising performance or stability. 

The previous solution was technologically outdated and difficult to scale, which limited the platform's further development. Our goal was to create a modern digital foundation capable of withstanding maximum loads while allowing for the continuous expansion of features. 

The new platform, built on a microservices architecture with Xperience by Kentico as the CMS core, delivers high performance, stability, and flexibility. As a result, Sazkabet now manages peak traffic situations with ease and is prepared for further growth and innovation in the online betting sector. 

For the Sazkabet project, the jury highlighted the seamless unification of the entire online betting process into a single, intuitive user experience. Clear presentation of odds, statistics, and key information directly on the homepage, combined with a wide range of sports and mobile betting support, creates a modern and fluid customer journey.
