From launch to evolution: Xperience by Kentico at Bluesoft Tech Day 2025

It’s been just over a year since we hosted our very first Bluesoft Tech Day in 2024 - where we proudly introduced the then-brand-new Xperience by Kentico. At the time, we had just wrapped up our first successful project on the new platform (a big hello to Mainz05!), which also happened to be the first XbyK implementation in all of Europe

Fast forward to this May, and we returned with the second edition of the event - this time focused on showing just how far the platform has come in a single year. We highlighted the real business value it now delivers and made it clear why modernizing your digital solution shouldn’t wait. The longer the delay, the bigger the tech debt - and the more opportunity left on the table.

Unlocking the newest features of XbyK

Over the past year, Xperience by Kentico has introduced powerful new features that enhance both marketer and developer experiences. Highlights include a no-code Email Builder with MJML (Mailjet Markup Language) support, Custom activities as marketing automation triggers, Customer Journeys, content versioning, commerce, improved Vanity URLs and content usage tracking, email builder widget personalization, and in-product guidance via artificial intelligence, AIRA.

Developers gained tools like a fluent CacheDependencyBuilder, scoped content retrieval, and upgraded GraphQL support. Together, these updates make the platform more flexible, scalable, and ready for modern digital experience delivery.

This year’s focus: what we covered

The day kicked off with our CEO, Jiří Barbořík, welcoming guests, welcoming guests, reflecting on the past year from Bluesoft’s perspective, and setting the stage for a day dedicated to future-ready technology, AI, and practical strategies for digital growth. 
We then moved into a series of compelling sessions:

  • David Slavík, Product Strategist at Kentico, explored current trends in web platforms and how AI is reshaping digital experience delivery.
  • Jakub Leichmann (Customer Growth Manager at Kentico) and Milan Šůstek (CTO at Bluesoft) delivered a live demo, showcasing new features like AI integration, personalization, form builder, customer journeys, marketing automation, and email orchestration.
  • Martina Škantárová, Product Manager at Kentico, introduced Kentico Digital Commerce, offering a glimpse into the platform’s evolving capabilities for online business.
  • David Maixner, Team Lead at Bluesoft, shared real-world case studies, showing how our teams tackle challenges and deliver solutions across industries.
  • Milan Šůstek returned to guide the audience through the migration journey from Kentico 13 to Xperience by Kentico, one of the most anticipated topics of the day.
  • Closing the program, Vladimír Výborný and Radim Trávníček from BiQ Group and Novasoft spoke on “From Cloud to AI: How SAP Transforms Reality”, providing a broader enterprise-tech perspective.
